Pre-production


Ideas generation
To start with the three of us in your group had three separate products. Kirk had PG tips, Ryan had Lynx and I had impulse. Between us we then went through our own individual pitches and picked our final product. Our final choice was Lynx for women and the reason why we picked this is because we felt that this  would be the best product for us to re-brand.

Initial Ideas and Proposals
Our final idea for our advert is to have a group of girls in the middle and a guy on one side spraying himself with a lynx deodorant and then the group of girls run over to see his amazing looks. One female is left on the other side by herself and she sees them all giving him the love so shes pulls out her can of lynx attract for females and sprays it on. The group of females smell the female and run over implying she has girl power and they group up and walk off leaving the man behind. As they walk past the male in question they leave the bottle of lynx behind an he sneakily runs up and smells it to see exactly what he is missing out on then cheekily sprays it on himself.

Identification of over/hidden message 
The idea is to get more females buying lynx initially but i think the purpose and what we hope to achieve is to aim it at a whole new audience instead of just the male generation.

Content
We start off with a guys spraying his abs a close up this i feel is an important shot because it is the establishing shot for the ad. Another shot i think will be important is the end shot of another close up of the guy smelling the lynx for females to see what hes missing out on.

Style
The style our proposed ad is going to take is humor and sex appeal.

Relevance to audience
Our advert will target our specified audience because  it is saying that the lynx gives you women power and our target audience is young teen females and young adults.
